Our college has achieved great results in the final of the 9th China undergraduate life sciences contest (Scientific Inquiry)

From July 15th to 18th, the final of the "Shun" Cup China undergraduate life sciences contest (Scientific Inquiry) was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. Guangxi University has won two national first prizes, three second prizes and two third prizes, among which the college of Life Science and Technology has won two first prizes, two second prizes and two third prizes, and the Medical College of Guangxi University has won one second prize.

Since the launch of the China undergraduate life sciences contest (Scientific Inquiry) last year, the competition has attracted 69,938 students and 23,501 instructors from 16,732 teams from 629 universities across the country, participating in Taiwan for the first time. After network evaluation and provincial finals, a total of 567 projects were selected to participate in the national finals. The winning projects in the competition have high gold content, among which the national first prize is only 2.5% of the total number of all effective teams, and the second and third prize is 4% and 12% respectively. The final of the next competition will be held in Yantai, Shandong province, in August 2025.
